Taylor Wane (born August 27, 1968 in Gateshead, England, United Kingdom) is a British porn star and adult model.

Adult film career

Wane had initially wanted to be a teacher. However, while in secretarial college at age 18, she won a calendar girl competition that her mother had entered her into. This led to her wanting to become a model, and she was soon signed by an agency.^[1] After moving to London, her career headed towards topless modeling. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she spent over a year modelling for men's magazines, before entering the adult film industry at the age of around 21. She began directing in 1992 and has since directed at least 30 films. In June 1994 she was the Penthouse Pet of the Month.

She currently runs her own production company, Taylor Wane Entertainment. What was your first job?
I was a gymnastics instructor.

How and when did you get into the adult industry? 
I used to model off and on for quite a few years and in Dec 2005 my hubby came across an open call for Penthouse magazine. He asked if I’d be interested and I told him “Of course!” We sent in those pictures and in Jan 2006 decided to start a website and network on-line to get me back into mainstream modeling. To make a long story short, Seymore Butts contacted me and asked if I was interested in signing with his adult agency Lighthouse Talent. It didn’t take long to tell him I’d love to! You see, we were very active swingers and had our own yahoo group and were a part of a couple chat sites. We’ve been doing all of that fun group sex and posting pictures for quite some time. So it was a very easy transition. 

How does your family feel about your decision to be an adult model? 
It was mixed…some were excited, some were “oh OK”, some were upset but now accept.

If you had not joined the adult industry, what do you think you would be doing now? 
Some of it would still be the same…Mom, loving wife, and model. Work wise, maybe still retail or Public Relations.

Do you get recognized in real life? 
Every once in a while, maybe more often than I know ‘cause they don’t come up to me and/or say anything. One of the most recent recognitions was at my hubby’s holiday office party. I hadn’t met anyone yet and my hubby never brought up my career to his co-workers. Well, one person there recognized me. And let me tell you, he started telling everyone within record time. Then they all had to “look me up”! LOL

Do you prefer video or photo shoots? 
To be honest, I really don’t have a preference. They are both a lot of fun!

Where is the most exotic location you have shot at? 
We were doing a video/photo shoot at and IN a mountain glacial stream. And let me tell you that water was COLD and big props to my co-star and being able to keep it up!

I do love my ass and (might sound weird) my eyes. My least favorite are my feet.

Really isn’t that exciting. LOL Most of the time I get up early in the morning, get my oldest ready for school, then come back home and shower, etc. Then I get my youngest off to school. After that I will take care of messages, e-mails, and any other on-line stuff. Then off to do housework, yard work, errands, or anything else that needs to be done that day. I do always get in some reading and/or video playing each day too. Now if I have shoot, my day will vary quite a bit, mainly because I work in LA and live in Seattle.
